oy, I see the jpeg compression has made a lot of fuzzies on this guy, so my critique will be off (please consider trying to submit higher quality ones if your camera allows).
Lots of deep dark black in this. Hmmm... looks almost brooding if you focus on that. But then, the water has highlights and so does the grass... The gentle wake that's slowly approaching stills the whole scene... and I think that tiny white figure/pole on the bank near the middle is suddenly eye-catching when you take a good long look. My only critique is I wish I could see those trees brought out more... but then, if you want it to feel more moody, you really can't do that.
Either way, neat composition and still... I want to know what made those ripples.... but it's just barely out of view around that grass. I love the mystery in that.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
